RockRidge Summer Trips

Join us for a week of fun in the sun at Young Life’s resort, RockRidge Canyon. This is a time for you to let down your hair and go crazy with your closest friends. The activities are amazing and the friendships last forever. You could be playing pool or foosball in the large games room, stomping around in the sand volleyball courts, owning the ball hockey rink, mountain biking, shooting some hoops on RockRidge Courts, or lazing by the swimming pool while you soak up the sun. Or, if you dare, you could challenge the ropes course or rip down our zipline which is the longest in Canada.  You could also head to the lake for some warm water, great water skiing, the blob, and more. This is the week to plan your summer around! Join us and make this a summer to remember. Checkout the video below.

PLEASE LET US KNOW IF FINANCES ARE AN ISSUE- WE HAVE FUNDRAISERS AND SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE. OUR POLICY IS THAT NO ONE MISSES CAMP DUE TO MONEY.

An additional $100 (for $200 total) deposit is due April 30th.

All deposits are non-refundable.

Final payment is due 2 weeks before camp. Contact us or talk to your Young Life leader for the price for your town's trip.

Fundraising and Scholarships

Want to come to camp but not sure you can afford it? An important rule we have at Young Life is that people can't miss out on camp because of money. We arrange camp fundraisers and have scholarships available. If you are willing to put in some work, we promise to get you to camp.

Please note that we do not offer a refund based on fundraising, and we do not allow fundraising amounts to roll over into future years. If you raise more than you owe for camp, the excess funds will be applied to the fee of another camper who has financial need. You can select a friend to help, or have us give it to the people who need the most help.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does my camp fee cover? Your camp payment covers all meals at camp, lodging, activities, transportation, and t-shirt. You will be responsible for meals while we travel and you may want money for snacks and souvenirs while at camp.

How do we get to RockRidge? Do we get there in one day? We charter coach busses for the trip to RockRidge. If our signups exceed bus capacity, we may also have some campers travel in vans rented and driven by responsible adult volunteers. On the way to RockRidge, we stay in Kamloops or Merritt for a night. We come back in one day. The dates given above are inclusive of travel.

What do I need to pack? A packing list can be downloaded here.

Do I need to be a part of Young Life to go to RockRidge Canyon? No. However, most of the people who go to RockRidge attend Young Life throughout the year. This means that most of the people in your cabin will know each other before camp. Your experience will be better if you come to at least a couple of Young Life clubs or hangouts to meet the people you will be at camp with, as well as the Young Life leader who will be in your cabin. Contact us to find out when the next club or hangout is.

I am an adult and RockRidge looks awesome. Can I come too? Yes! Find out about adult camping opportunities here.
