About Young Life: For Teenagers
There is always lots of laughing, music, games and fun at Young Life. And plenty of time to just hangout with your old and new friends. To get a small idea of part of Young Life, checkout our video from summer camp (below). However, Young Life is one of those things that is hard to explain: you just need to experience it for yourself.
We do Young Life Club most Mondays throughout the school year. We meet at the Muskoseepi Park Pavilion at 7:11pm for an event or "Young Life Club." We finish around 8:30 and then head to the Tim Hortons on 100 Ave (by The Keg) for coffee, hot chocolate, and donuts. There is no cost to attend Monday nights, but bring a couple of dollars if you want anything Tim's.
We also have weekly discussion times, occasional trips, and plenty of informal hangout. Whether you are looking for laughs, fun, leadership development, good friends, or a place to have great conversation Young Life has something for you.
At Young Life clubs and events, there is often a short talk about the Christian faith. However, absolutely anyone in high school is welcome to attend and most teens who come to Monday nights do not identify with a faith. We want to create a safe place where everyone can have honest conversation about what they think about life, purpose and friendship in the midst of fun and adventure.
